e-District is a Mission Mode Project (MMP) under National e-Governance Plan (NeGP).
It aims at electronic delivery of identified citizen-centric services, at District and Sub-Division level.
It also automates the workflow, backend computerization, and data digitization across participating departments.
Himachal Pradesh is identified as a not pilot state.
There have been no pilot e-district project implementations in the state.
The E-District project envisages integrated and seamless delivery of citizen services by district administration through automation of workflow, backend computerization, and data digitization across participating departments.
